The IBM eServer xSeries 336 with Intel Xeon processors offers superb performance for demanding Web and collaborative applications. New support for 64-bit applications through Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology helps protect server investments by supporting both 32- and 64-bit applications. EM64T enables better performance by allowing operating systems and applications to physically address more memory. To take advantage of this, the x336 supports a maximum of 16GB of DDR2 memory.
